This last weekend I was at DomCon in LA, where for the third year in a row I was a Special Guest. And for the past few days, I have had to spend a lot of energy catching up – and seeing slaves / submissives who missed me…

Last year was very eventful. But this year was somewhat more low key, partly because I had personal considerations. I tended to skip workshops and seminars, to avoid calendar overload. But I still went to the Mistress’ Dinner on Thursday evening, the DomCon Play Party at Sanctuary Studios on Friday evening, the Mistresses DDI Photo on Saturday afternoon, and the DomCon Fetish Ball on Saturday.

At the Mistress’s Dinner I met a whole bunch of dommes, including a very sweet newish domme from Orange County – Tracy. And at the social / opening party afterwards, I reconnected with professional colleagues like Goddess Fae and Grace Marie. Plus I met Domina Elle who so far I have only met online.

One interesting wrinkle is that my favourite submissive Nomicon was in attendance. Last year was his first time at DomCon, and I rather enjoyed having him be in service to me – for example carrying my bag at the big events. This year, he was there in his own right – albeit he was in service to XtinaKay and carrying her bag. He has come so far in the past 18 months or so – and it was rather wonderful to see him in service to someone who is clearly very good for him.

Although… At the Saturday night Fetish Ball, I was somewhat peeved to discover that there was a stunningly long line at the bar. When I commented that I didn’t remember that from last year, Nomicon pointed out that last year he had been responsible for standing in line and getting my drinks. I hate it when I don’t have a slave to do that sort of thing – and when a now “graduated” slave gets smart about it.

And... I did manage to fit in a couple of sessions while there. A couple of LA slaves are now very happy…
