As those of you who have read my website and/or blog will know, I am originally from London (in the United Kingdom or England), and hence have a very English sensibility – a particular accent, a particular approach, a particular enjoyment of slaves and sissies who know how to please me…

But I have been here, in the USA, for over fifteen (15) years. I do not think it has diluted my sense of being English that much – although sometimes my friends back in London say that I am becoming American. Something about my adoption of a particular American phrasing – “you guys”? Or perhaps when I started to say “cool” as if it had eight syllables?

In any event, I do very much feel at home here in the Bay Area. I love it when I pop down to the shops and run into people I know. Or I am at an event and some kewtie scoots up to me and it turns out that we have friends in common. San Francisco is nearly a million people – but it often feels like a village of a few thousand people where everybody knows somebody else – or at least only a few degrees of separation.

But then… lately… San Francisco has got uber-expensive… And so many of the cool kids have had to move away… to Oakland or farther afield…

And my horizons have expanded outside of the San Francisco “bubble”. In particular, I have been making more and more contacts in LA. Initially through DomCon LA which I have been going to as a “special guest” for a few years – where I have met a whole bunch of lovely dommes…

And then more recently… A few of my favorite slaves moved to LA… So perhaps I will be spending more time there…
