I have actually finished my taxes this year – one whole week ahead of the deadline. But it still irks me very much that it is such a production here – compared to the very straightforward tax process back in the UK.

I haven’t started on my taxes yet this year – although it is almost to the top of my list. I should get to it any day this week?! But I have started on my Tax Special earlier this year than last.

I now finally have all my tax information in to my tax preparer and we’ve been back and forth a few times clarifying details. I still don’t know whether I’ll be in line for a refund, but at least all that is out of the way.

I am now back from Palm Springs and Los Angeles, settling back into a busy week of sessions after a lovely weekend mixing friends, culture, pleasure and sessions down in SoCal.
